How to Install the BAB Concrete Insert
Our environmentally friendly, triple patented insert is fully designed and tested to hold a #4 or #5 vertical rebar dowel for subsequent vertical masonry work.You will no longer need to pre-install dowels before concrete slabs are placed or come back and drill holes after.
Once the sleeve is attached in place it becomes a permanent part of the concrete structure. When it is time to install vertical masonry, just remove the protective cap and epoxy the rebar dowel in place. (GREAT for CURBS, PADS, and WALLS) This product nearly eliminates the need to purchase, install and maintain HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of safety caps, greatly reducing the exposure to many unnecessary fines and or stop work orders from OSHA or local building departments.
